Reservations and Policies Pet Policy We welcome you and your pet dog. We’re sorry but we do not accommodate cats or other animals. Dogs are allowed in our motel rooms and efficiency units only (not allowed in deluxe rooms). All dogs must be declared at time of reservation and again at check-in. A fee of $10 per dog, per night is charged. Your dog may not be left unattended in your room or on the grounds.
We ask that you clean up after your dog. A pooper scooper and container
Please remember this is a motel with other people and other dogs. In consideration of others you must leash your dog at all times. Thank you! Reservation and Cancellation Policy Deposit Policy: At the time the reservation is made we require a deposit of one night plus 7% lodging tax. Your credit card will be charged for the deposit unless you make arrangement to send a check. Reservations awaiting a deposit for guarantee will be held for one week only. Cancellation Policy: When you reserve a room at Chalet Moosehead Lakefront Motel we set it aside especially for you. We do not overbook. Therefore, due to the short season and the limited number of rooms we require 7 (seven) day notice of cancellation prior to the scheduled arrival date. For cancellations made more than seven days before arrival there is a $10 cancellation fee and a refund of the balance. Within seven days the deposit is non-refundable. There is no refund for early departure. Multiple Room (Group) Reservations are subject to longer cancellation notice and require a one night deposit per room. Please note: Balance of Payment is expected at Check-In. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Travelers checks and cash.
